No clue how good the new venge is, but you can't possibly go wrong with F8, which is almost perfect in every aspect..

I'm super biased and love the ViAS and its my road race bike this year but have a lot of respect for the F8. I think either would be a fantastic purchase.
Definitely do post the photos and link me to that thread! True.. Really can't go wrong with either bike, but I'm on the shorter side. Have my doubts on the 44cm Pinarello geometry vs 49cm Sworks.

It's a TT bike setup. Did my first Half Ironman with it.

when you factor in the lighter total bike build weight it is a no brainer.
The ViAS is stiffer and more compliant according to Tour
Steering column rigidity Nm/*
ViAS 98
F8 100 +2%
Lateral fork stiffness N/mm
ViAS 71 +48%
F8 48
BB rigidity N/mm
ViAS 79 +23%
F8 64
Seat post deflection N/mm
ViAS 233 20% more compliant
F8 293

The VIAS is amazing, climbs really well, all be it not quite as lively as a Tarmac, but in a straight line climbs beautifully and great power transfer whilst still being an amazing bike I happily ride every day of the week, and I have a S-WORKS Tarmac to choose from.

Well.....I mean.....if you're gonna use facts.......
I test rode one the other day. Very jarring and rigid front end, soft back end. Just didn't feel too precise handling wise. And the brakes were decidedly inferior. Very poor modulation. Initially nothing then a sudden grab.

Obviously the reasons why Contador, Nibali and Aru much prefer their Tarmacs...

Mechanic Quality = Brake Quality.

Going through more or less the exact same decision, Venge has grown on me, particularly if my fit allows the use of the flat handlebar. The 25mm rise version is ugly IMO.
Unfortunately can't ride either which is frustrating so having to rely on everyone else's opinions.
