Unfortunately I don't have any more info than what I posted then.

You can see the difference in external weave for one!
A wider rim almost always gain weight over a less wide.
Why do you think Lightweight keep to those narrow rim profiles?
So the original CCU (20.5-20.8mm rim width) could be lighter than the forthcoming.
On the other hand, they hopefully have a better technology now, so they can make a rim both wider and lighter.
During 2015 Mavic head office told that the new CCU was expected 2017.
Hopefully they also designed better hubs

That was my main problem with the previous version. The hubs were inexcusably bad for such an expensive wheelset.

It can be possible to reduce rim wall thickness if the rim is wider and keep weight even/reduce weight.
Is this wheel definitely a new wider rimmed tubular CCU?
all they need now is a new hub! !

Me too.
I still have a pair, but the rear hub is very basic, and the same as in much cheaper Mavic wheels.
Otherwise, a nice pair, much cheaper than Lightweights, and not so different.

Sure you can, but you can do this at a narrow rim to and then the narrow rim becomes lighter.
