You may not enjoy the feeling of the steering with the shorter stem. The only reason to buy a medium is if you must have a taller head tube.
For me, you look very good on the small. If you are happy with your position on the small, it is not a good idea to change.
I sold the small Parlee few years ago so it is not belongs to me now.
And I'm planning to buy another parlee, the medium one.
It is really hard to find small one so if medium fits to me, I'll gonna buy that.
If i ride medium size frame, is there any problems without feeling of steering?
The Parlee Altum replaced the Z5. you can still find them on eBay or someone here.

@OP: have you bought your frame yet? If not, PM me and I can send you a geometry fitting sheet where you can enter your setup and see what spacer / stem combination gets you there with the S or the M frame. It means that you need to be relatively confident in your position, though.

First of all, sorry for poor English.
Your English is much better than my Korean.

I'm planning to buy another parlee z5
and I'm having a trouble with choosing size between S and M.
I'm 5.6ft (170cm) with 26.5ft (81cm) of inseam. Long arms, legs and highest flexibility.
I can’t imagine that a medium would fit better than a small. It seems like the medium would be too high, affecting handling. Difficult to tell without seeing you on the bike, but a small seems more appropriate to me.
It is a great bike.
