Hi

From personal experience, what is the lightest QR lever you have used that actually works without issue and just does the job?

I have used some very light skewers over the years, but am currently running Dura Ace ones and was thinking about shedding some weight.

Cheers

I have had good luck with my Planet-X Ti/Carbon skewers. They're light and work well. I close them and then give it a quarter rotation to further tighten them. I never feel them budging, even in full out sprints.

Been using a set of KCNC Ti skewers for years with no issues. Light weight, durable brass lever bushing, set and forget.

+1. I have the latest Extralite Aliens4 and at 39g. I find no faults. They clamp very tightly. There's no carbon anywhere and the front rod is butted titanium. Bronze bushing doesn't bind and it operates smoothly. The lever itself is solid and work of art.

Thanks a lot.

Extralite seem cool. I have a load of their stuff on my bike already, so that would make sense.

Cheers!

I bought Planet X as an experiment in light skewers and while they didn't slip every time I hit a speed bump or pothole I'd hear a smacking noise which I can only assume was somehow to do with the skewer flexing.

Gave up and have run Dura Ace since which weigh a lot but are functionally spot on. I'd try Extralite if I bought some more though.
