I managed to test ride a supersix evo last autumn and... Boy oh, boy, it is one smile inducing frame.
I'm actually this close to ordering one...

people keep telling me the evo is an absolute joy ride. I don't think it will actually make you faster in a race but it sounds like a total winner when it comes to sensations.

My top two bikes are Cannondales. SS EvO HM and Caad12, previously Caad10. I think what makes me say they are the best is they fit me just right. I live in a valley so I like a good all arounder. Strangely enough I actually prefer my Caad over my HM for most of my riding. Odd I know, but there's something to be said for a blue collar bike. The bike rides like a dream for me with a good set of wheels and carbon bits. Not having to worry about chipping the paint or some scratches is a bonus to me. Maybe I am a little ADD. I do grab the HM when I am headed to the Sierra Nevadas or will be climbing all day.

I've spent a long time working in bike shops and I've been fortunate to ride and go on demo days for most of the big brands.
Through the 2000's with carbon bikes I always had Trek which I really liked, I then moved on to Cervelo, I had my S2 in 2012 that I also liked but I had the opportunity to go on a Giant demo day.
I tried the TCR composite, advanced and advanced SL all fitted with the same Dura Ace groupset and wheels.
At the time my S2 had Dura Ace and 7850cl wheels.
I tried the composite first and was devastated that it was as good as my S2, the Advanced with Dura Ace felt better again. Stiffer, lighter, comfier.
The guys at Giant HQ said you feel the difference on the SL when you accelerate out of corners and give it full gas. They were right.

I would say the best I've ridden would be
Giants Advanced SL, TCR and Defy.
Cannondale, the original supersix hi-mod (a shame the BB requires maintenance)
Scott the current Addict and new Foil HMX
Trek, late 2000 Madone 5.9 with Dura Ace.

Most disappointing Look 695 and Wilier Cento Uno, the Wiler just never felt right, I believe it was a geometry issue with my long legs and short body (this was pre 2013,new bikes may be better).

I've never had the chance to ride a carbon Colnago or any of the real boutique bikes but it seems to me the big boys do it best, I guess the money they spend on development works.

My C59 is the best so far. To get there I went through a Parlee Z4, Calfee Dragonfly, Time VXS, Time Edge First, Litespeed Classic. I was impressed by the Time frames. I'd like to try a newer model.

1) Tarmac SL5
2) Bianchi Specialissima
3) Cervelo R3
4) Specialized Venge
5) Specialized Allez
6) Specialized Crux

Venge was the fastest and the most uncomfortable.
Specialissima the Stiffest BB.

Tarmac gets the win, because it is very well balanced - it just feels right - cornering is easier - stiffness and comfort are balanced well.

All bikes where set up exactly the same and used with the same wheelsets. (But not the same tires)

The problem with all this reviews is that the frames will ride completely different in other sizes.

Specialized claims they have minimized this factor - which sounds like it could help in comparing frames.

All specialized frames where 52, the rest 53
