Probably a stupid question, but does anyone know the function of the round button at the bottom of a Di2 SW-7971 TT shifter? It is 'connected' with a wire, but I can't see anything happening when I press it.
I have a used bike and everything seems to work ok, just can't figure out what this button is supposed to do...

I'm pretty sure it is just a plug with nothing attached. I can check this afternoon though.

So I double checked and they don't do anything. I have the tt attached via sti's rather than a full tt box.

The shifters in the image are from the Di2 7970 10-speed group that pre-dates E-tube technology.
