Despite the setback from the possibly temporary UCI suspension of disc brakes in the pro peloton, i remain excited about the prospects of high end disc Cervelos. is anyone aware of an R5 model? The R3 looks great and is an amazing deal, but seems a tad heavy, so would love to see an R5 version.

R3 is a pave bike. It makes sense to equip disc brakes on it.
R5, in contrast, is a featherweight superbike, so I'm not for it with disc brakes.

Thanks for your opinion. Others, such as myself, may not agree.

There is no word on it from Cervelo. They are content with the R3 disc and the C series according to the reps.
