Looking to see if anyone has feedback on how the new Madone is, with mech shifting.

I would be using SRAM Red 22, and would have the mechanic install / set up.

Whats it like to live with?

Is there even more cable rattling than electronic (due to more cables/internal routing)?

Once installed, is the adjustment and maintenance the same as other cabled up bikes?

Can the cables be installed in a way to lessen or mostly eliminate the cable rattling?

The biggest pain in the ass is the bar, stem, headtube transition. Lots of tight turns. We have a bunch of them out for awhile now with none returning for shifting issues. Front derr is adjusted via downtube control box. Other then the front end its pretty straightforward like any other internally routed bike. The only real cable rattling is the rear brake, but they supply a foam sleeve for the cable. We had one built up and was making some noise, the foam was not installed. This bike is a perfect candidate for Etap. That's the only way i would personally build one up.
