Stop looking to pictures and brochures only.
Go to a shop to compare several helmets.

To get an overview of this and other particular helmets you best search on google to reviews first before starting a topic. Start with some research yourself.

I absolutely agree that trying one out in a bike shop would be the optimal way to try fit. I started the thread so i could learn something about personal long term experiences about the helmet, which are generally excluded in reviews.

+ i intend to buy the helmet off the internet, so it would be a pretty dick move to try one at a bike shop and then choose to buy it from another place :)

I love this helmet. It fits a round head shape (spec is more long head shape). Slightly more room in the med than a med Giro. The visor sits a little to far away from the face and nose for me.

Unfortunately the helmet does cook you in warm weather. Conversely, closing the vents in winter is great.

I use one in the winter. I got one size larger so I could put smartwool hats under it. Vents closed is nice for the cold days. I got mine with a transition visor so I could use it for commuting when I ride morning/night commutes. I wear medium in specialized prevail, and this fit similar till I went one size up.

Pezcycling so called "reviews" are advertorials.
He is just repeating the marketingshit from the manufacturer.
Lot of pictures and loads of blablabla.
These should be banned.
