Fouriers CNC Derailleur Cage
Moderator: robbosmans
Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these ? I know the Ceramic Speed that ETTIX / Dimension Data and Berner for Cannondale are popular, but I come across these ones on Ebay and just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback ?

Fouriers latest model. 15T upper and lower and ceramic bearings. Each pully wheel weighs 15g. Totals 40 g heavier than a std RD9000 mech. Not bad for the price 115usd on ebay. Install was easy, i kept the same chain, but probably would need a new one if i put something besides an 11-23. Ill get some pics on the bike in the light. On the work stand it does sound quiet.

I don't dig the graphic (a bit too much Rotor style) but the price is tempting.
Especially as it's an 15/15.

The gfx are sublte but im not sold on them, acetone will probably wipe them out. It is definitly quieter.
There are 5 holes to install the tensioner spring. I picked the one that gives the least amount of force. I didnt notice any issues shifting under load.

I reckon lighten it up more by getting custom Fiber Lyte 15 tooth carbon pulleys made for it!
It works. Will help if you ever intend to slap on a climbing cassette. You wouldn't feel the wattage difference but science says it's there so that's that. Most important is, it looks cool.

Would this work with 6870 as well do you reckon?
I believe it'll work with anything Shimano.

I can only find the 11T top/15T bottom pulley cage for sale. Where did you find the 15T/15T pulley cage?
Edit: Looks like a typo on the ebay listing based on the photos that go with it.

The 15T/15T is http://m.ebay.com/itm/131825290519
That is a different mpn: CT-DX007-D15-B1R1 (dual 15 T) from the OPs ebay link which is CT-DX007

Ridea (Taiwanese brand) makes a 16t-16t cage now, with choice of alloy or carbon front cage plate. They don't sell on ebay though, have to see their list of distributors.
