Has anyone tried molding these at home? Happen to live near no shops with the available setup for molding these shoes. Everyone has ovens for a variety of applications but no one has a vacuum bag setup. Has anyone tried to do this at home?

I am not sure if a simple vacuum would provide enough pressure on the outside of the shoes to compress as needed ...

I've done this both the right way with the correct Shimano equipment and at home with the same shoes (R310) with a plastic bag for freezing food and a small home vacuum cleaner. I would say the home vacuum cleaner, sealed against the bag with electricians tape, had way more suction/pressure than the Shimano equipment. It worked very, very well.

You can easily google how to correctly use a home oven for this with good results. Very viable option in my opinion.

Agreed. Did it at home with vacuum cleaner and had no problems!
