I currently have full 6870 ultegra Di2 on my bike. I would like to save some weight where possible and maybe try some Dremel work.

I have seen some reasonable crashed/not working rear dura ace rear derailleurs on eBay and am wondering if any of these parts are interchangeable with my ultegra derailleur.
If so could I strip the dura ace mech, remove excess weight where possible then fit these parts to the ultegra body (motor)
Any help would be welcome, I understand this is not the most simple but I'm trying to save weight on a budget and also would like try my hand at some customisation (drillium)

Not directly answering your qn, but the easiest way to save wt on gpset would be
1. Brakes - some of the kcncs n july n planet x brakes r pretty decent n not expensive
2. Crankset.
Derailleur tuning would probably nett you 10-30g in savings imho. Probably save that for the last 10% of weight loss?
