The old non-Aeroglide won't even work with an 11-28 cassette without a lot of problems, it's specified as 11-26 max. For anything above 26, you need the new, Aeroglide 10 or 11 speed version anyway.

I heard that it is usable, but not fitted perfectly.

Slightly off-topic, but I use a SRAM short cage mechanical RD for my 11-32 cassette using Roadlink hanger extensions.

Works a treat, no issues with chain slack on the small/small combo, so long as you have the correct chain length for it (I tend to avoid cross chaining anyway even though it is perfectly safe so it's not an issue for me).

Best $40 I have ever spent on my bike.

I just put a red 11-30 on my etap short cage and it works perfectly. No way a 32 would work though.

I have an 11-30 on one wheelset with std eTAP RD.. no problems... from the position of the B screw.. a 32 might even fit, but I dont have a 32t cassette to try

I put a 36t on a red mechanical middle cage derailleur. Works well apart from a bit less precision on the small cogs. Shifting down on the small cogs needs a little help meaning you have to overshift a tiny bit to get smooth shifts.

I think people tend to see it a bit too black and white. It's not like that.

You sacrific shifting performance bit by bit going away from the particular derailleurs ideal cassette size.

A race bike would need a higher standard build but for cruising it works. That's my take.

Yes, it's working well.
don't need to change it to WIFLI.
