I'm going to equip my roadbike with a SRAM groupset, so i need a GXP bottom bracket (Press Fit / 41,0 x 86,5 mm). I did some research and lot of people say, they have bad experience with the "Truvativ" (=SRAM) bottom brackets.

So du you have any recommendations which brand to choose? Maybe Reset Racing? Chris King with adapters (in my opinion adapters are always a bad decision)?

Additional Question: is it worth to go for a ceramic BB?

I've used these before, they are light, last well, and are Hybrid Ceramic BB

In your position I would be using a BB that threads together, like Enduro, over any pressfit BB. Just more solid.

The GXP system was designed back in the days of threaded BB's and relies for it's location by clamping onto the NDS bearing.

There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?

One.

So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...
and if you fix your attitude you can ride along with me.

You are not understanding. The BB I referenced is designed for pressfit shells, but the BB threads together. Look at what I linked to.

People have frames that are poorly manufactured blame the BB or the BB technology for their issues. Funny how that goes. The BB is easy to manufacture and the tolerances of BB bearings are very precise. Frames on the other hand are made by dozens of manufacturers with varying quality standards. If your frame is well made the BB should interface with it perfectly and no issues are expected. I have used the Sram GXP press-fit BB with absolutely no issues.

I've got a Wheels Manuf. angular contact PF86 BB in my Argon. It's worked well for two years now, with no issues so far.

That's what I meant. This is an alternative to the Enduro one I posted.

Mine is not one of the ones that screws together. It just presses together, but it works very well.

I don't believe they offered the Thread-Together option when I purchased mine.
