Right.

I have a few bits on my 'list' to get my TCR Pro down in weight. I've looked at a tad myself but others on here seem to hold a little more knowledge on individual parts and where to source. Hope a few peeps can help in finding me these items, or similar.

- Lightweight seat post. Sub £150. Don't care if alloy, carbon etc.

- Lighweight compact bars, pref 'fat' and pref no wider than 42.

- Lighweight saddle, looking at some fiZik's atm, but I know they're not the lightest.

I have pedals sourced. Not the lightest, but they'll do.

any suggestions I will look up and the more help the better.

thx.

You're out of luck, Lightweight doesn't make a seatpost but they just recently started making a saddle (branding a saddle). For all of your Lightweight needs:

Sorry...couldn't resist before prend got in here.

Woah. didn't actually mean Lighweight the brand, but that's a pretty cool looking site. Only ever heard of the Mielenstein wheels.

I meant lightweight in specification, regardless of the brand. thx anyway though.

Chinese carbon seatposts on ebay are so light and cheap it seems silly to pay $100+ more to save less than 20g (after cutting). For the handlebar I'm partial to Easton. They have a nice, light aero bar and an even lighter non-aero.

You won't get a seat post to fit a tcr they're giant specific.

Check out Thomson posts, lighter than many carbon posts and they come in any standard imaginable

up the budget and go schmolke. amazing seat posts that weigh sub 90 g. you will be holding it in your hand, thinking about your hulking weight sitting on this thing that seems like it might shiver into shards at the drop of a hat and at that moment you will truly live. plus they are comfortable i think.

3t ergonova ltd for bars (180 g and stiff)

you need to get the shape right for the saddle. i love the ax leaf at 89 g.
Bobo S&S Steel Bike - 7.5 kg
Oltre XR2- 6.6 kg
Look 585 - 6.8 kg
Look 695 SR :D

Why buy a seatpost when you could buy a seat that comes with a post :D
