Hi All

Anyone know where to get one of these for the new Evo?

210 grams for 400mm. Cut off the length you don't need. What weigh are you targeting.

The stock carbon post on my 2016 EVO HiMod weighed 196 grams. Cut to length it was 155 grams.

I have found the Cannondale C2 to be light enough. However, a wide clamping cradle limits adjustment.

FSA used to make a 25.4.

If I cut it down will it lose di2 compatibility? I had a circa 110g Ax post on my last Evo but of course it won't fit the new one. I have tried a hack using some Ax clamping bars and so getting rid of the heavy alu top clamp which works nicely. I'm having trouble getting enough rearward adjustment on my Komm Vor given the width of the clamp. I wanted to use an online post that is much lighter but no dice.

Also, if I cut it down what is the min insertion?

On Cannondale "save" post it's about 160mm... on non-save C2 there's no limit; it's just straight pipe with attached clamp to it.
C2 NonDi2 is 232g for 350mm, Di2 is about 260, Save ( all are Di2 ) : 270g - 1st weight measured, rest are claims.

Min insert for Cannondale frame is 9cm, I believe.

Do you mean 160mm has to be left in the frame with the Save post or is it just 90mm? Keen to get sawing.

100mm in frame is a general rule of thumb.

MOST seat posts will have a minimum insertion length marked on the post, if it doesn't i second Nefarious with the 100mm general rule of thumb

You guys are nuts to pay that much for the Enve seat post...especially when it's nowhere near the lightest. I use a Omni Racer carbon post (have on my last three bikes). 148 grams for the 350mm length at half the price. You can get the straight or 25mm setback. And, made right here in my hometown in Texas. And no, I have zero affiliation with the company.

They don't do 25.4. Still looking for a setback post that is really light. Enve looks heavy given mounting hardware so maybe it is the hacksaw for the Save post...

OMNI Racer seatposts are not made in the US. The seller is in the US, however.
They also don't do 25.4mm.

I've got the Enve 25.4 post for my 2014 Synapse. Couldn't tell you the weight off hand as that spreadsheet exists on another computer, but it is also the only 25.4mm post that has 25mm setback (or at least it was 6 or 8 months ago when I bought it). Cannondale and FSA 25.4mm posts only have 20mm setback I believe
