Lol at ceramic speed prices. Just bearings not rocket science. As I always say I have had great luck with hawk bb in my evo hm. They spin effortlessly.

I'm also interested in a good BB for a SS Evo (just got a 2015 frame).

I've always used english threaded BB's (on other frames) and they are easy to install - I'll google how to install the PF30 and what tools I need.

(Just had a ultegra 6800 BB crap out on me this morning - 3 months... but they are about £10).

Thanks for the info.

I posted in another thread earlier this week recommending VCRC, can't say enough about their bearings. I have one BB that is over 8 years old at this point, maybe more, and other than an occasional greasing it has been great. I've even sent bearings back before that I trashed completely and VCRC rebuilds them like new. Great guy to deal with if you like small USA businesses.

I struggled with the C-dale supplied BB30(which is actually PF30) for months. Creaking, constantly needing to take things apart and re-do Locktite application on the bearings. Replacing cracked PF30 cups. Replacing bearings (because they're so narrow, they're constantly stressed). Pain in the ass. Now running a standard Dura-Ace crank with Kogel's PF30 to 24 conversion. It's not cheap. But it's buttery smooth and absolutely friggin' bulletproof. So anything that Kogel makes, I'll recommend any day.

C-bear if you don't use bb30.

That must be the worst piece of advice ever. FSA bearings are horrible.
