Deda Superleggera - noodle?
Moderator: robbosmans
I'm using an alloy Deda 35 stem and bars. I love the shape (130mm drop, reach 79mm). The combo also stiffens up my front end considerably. The main issue is the aesthetic which is too bulky for an aluminium frame with fairly slim tubes, they also weigh more than other options.
I'm considering switching to the superleggera stem and WR Compositi Carbon bars, which would save a lot of weight, but how stiff are they? WR Compositi make their own bar and also make the Tune Absolute Black Bar. Drop and reach are spot on.

What are you serious. While there stiffness difference in stems telling them apart on the road is not easy. They all feel like stems to me. I own a superleggaro stem and it feels much like all the other stems I have.

I agree with you about the differences in stiffness being unimportant, but many, many folks don't feel that way. I wish I could feel what they feel to know what they are talking about.
