they got a shot on BIkerumour.com : http://www.bikerumor.com/2016/04/28/car ... struction/

Looks like one of the chaps responded in the comments but I could totally see how a lot of people may have gotten even crummier responses since the nature of the posting by BR was basically sharing these guys' press release.
I have the same misgivings about vinylester in a crank application. From what I've gathered the implied variation on BMC technology that they're ostensibly using is the same as developed by Quantum Composites. That might be bluster or overstatement, it might be true and just a dumb idea for cranks.

I find it interesting that nobody has mentioned Look yet. They liked to use the word 'forged' when talking about their process for the 858. That even predates a few of the other examples brought up.
it's actually possible to come to the conclusion even before realising it makes no sense at all

Hate to drudge up a dead thread, but did anyone here end up pulling the trigger on a set of cranks? I did not, since I wanted to 100% know they existed before paying.

check out the last update, the guy seems a bit sour, and i'm unsure if people ever received anything. I sent a few emails regarding the status and never heard back. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/forg ... s#/updates

so now he closed the facebook page and is going to shut down the website. I would liked to have at least seen a picture of a crank from someone other than the individual running the campaign.
