I thought my TUNE GUM GUM with Fibre-Lyte cap and Aluminum bolt was a light set up at 13g but this is still lighter BUT at a significantly larger price point. My Fibre-Lyte cap and aluminum bolt show 4g on the scale but I do not have a better scale to get an exact weight.

It probably does not hold as well as the EE version. I always preload my system with an FSA model then put the lighter combo in for riding.

I have the exact same question. This could steer me away from the Extralite cap and expander .

I'm currently using the Cannnondale cap, haven't had time to install the new eeNut. (Enve 1.0 fork)

The stock Cannondale cap is ~12g isn't it?

Yes indeed, and I believe the bolt is around 8g.

I meant the integrated cap. I could have sworn my total assembly was 12-13g

My not-very-accurate postal scale say 15g for the Cannondale, 9 for the ee. So...$10/gram?

Pretty much, but that Cannondale light version is hard to find.

It certainly is!! I waited nearly 5 months to get it in the UK!! A good buy for £20 though when you can find one. I hear they are much easier to get hold of in the US. But shipping to the UK makes that a no go.

I'm planning to buy one soon.

However, I doubt that my LBS is familiar with EE brakes.

Is it as easy as BR-9000 to set up?

Yeah, there's nothing unusual about the setup. The older version was different in that you could adjust pad height with the mounting bolt, but the current version did away with that.

I have an EE top cap and bolt and it's sick. my favorite out of my Tune and absolute black. the detail on the bolt is pretty killer actually.

great guy too. anything to support his efforts against the big boys like Trek/Bontrager who like to steal his design(s).

it is basically as easy as DA 9000. cable routing is a bit interesting by necessity the first time you do it. The 2016 version has a slick little centering turnbuckle for the pads.

keep a good torque wrench handy and you're GTG. never going back to "dual pivots".
