Are we not talking about torsional stiffness anymore? What does front end flex have to do with torsional stiffness?
Has there been any attempt to correlate torsional deflection numbers with a resulting performance difference? How much difference does a 10mm torsional deflection matter? How many watts are lost when the drive spokes are stressed and relaxed? Does pedaling style (mashing vs. turning circles) matter? Is there a measurable effect on braking performance?
I don't take Greg Kopecky's article at face value. I'd like to see some data either way. Millimeters of torsional deflection don't help me out much since I have no context for how much that deflection affects performance.
wheel work at above 30km/h?
