A little off topic, but looks like BT (Bike Technologies) will have a new track frame for the Olympics....
Frame name-Fork name-Cat.-Size-App. Date-Frame Code-Fork Code
ULTRA-ULTRA-TR-51 - 61 (6)-11.12.2015-BT-ULT-TR-BT-ULT-TR

Several here have gotten close.
But... time for the big reveal:
There are NO discs. NO rim brakes .... In fact, no brakes at all.
This is the long-anticipated Venge FFIBS. Yes, the "Fred Flintstone Integrated Braking System"
Brakes too heavy? Brakes don't work well? Well, let's do away with them entirely.
Venge FFIBS will be restricted to riders under 80 kg and with shoe sizes greater than 9m.
Next up: The S-Works Body Geometry Sub 6 HiFASS shoes. That's "High Friction Asbestos Sole System"
Tested on a 30-foot section of heavily waxed kitchen floor in the Win Tunnel at 40kmh.
On regular pavement, dragging one of these bad boys in size 10 will cost you 46 hours, 23 minutes and 12 seconds in a 40km time trial.

The dude sat besides Carlton Kirby during today's Catalunya stage on Eurosport made a passing remark on how a disk venge was soon to be released and how he had been involved with it in a way I don't remember at the moment.
Euro weeneis might be able to back this story up.

You can see the axle threads on the right fork leg in the last top down photo on page 3. Any thoughts if specialized is planning on any compensation for the owners who have purchased version 1 and want to switch? It would be nice with the loyalty and trust that customers have had in the VIAS to be taken care of and not to mention how much coin we all had to drop to buy this bike.
It makes sense to me that they would put out a disc version as they essentially led the way with taking their race prove Tarmac and putting discs on it without ruining the handling. I agree with the CLX 64's being available in an SCS disc version that they were indeed designed for the VIAS.

I think they're frantically trying to design an aero fairing that can be marketed as an anti-laceration cover.
Much like the boffins at Trek are currently designing a front calliper guard.
