Powermeter for SiSL2
Moderator: robbosmans
Hi folks.
Considering picking up a powermeter for my sisl2 crankset. Just wondering what people are running out there?
I was thinking about a stages, but they only offer an Si arm... How much weight does this add?
Otherwise, I was thinking about a P2M..however, I'd be unable to run my sexy spidering...
Any comments appreciated!

You are lucky because every major power meter company has a product for cannondale cranks. You can go with srm, quarq, p2m. But yes, you would lose the spiderings. While I wouldn't go with stages, you shouldn't worry too much about the added weight. I'm 90% sure that any other PM would add more weight than stages with the si arm.
SISL2 + P2M Type S 110BCD weighs under 500g (172.5mm cranks).
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike

I'm in Belgium so I'd have to ship my crank over the Atlantic for 4iiii. To be honest I've been seriously considering the favero bepro... But I'm running time pedals on all my bikes so don't fancy having to swap cleats and ditch my xpressos etc!

I picked up a used SRM for my Hollowgrams last year for $550. Came with Force 11-speed chainrings too.
My 172.5mm SiSL2 left crank arm weighed 129g and my Stages Si left crank arm weighs 174g.
I'm mostly happy with my Stages power meter although the battery door is a bit of a pain in the ass (although the new ones are supposed to be better). I also didn't want to lose the Spidering, so my options were limited.

Stages did sell a SISL2 initially, but apparently stopped (I heard rumours of technical difficulties?). I have one of these and love it, but if I had to do it again I would likely just go with the SI despite the (small) weight penalty. The spidering is too good to give up!
I've been running a Stages for about 2 years. It works really well and their customer support is amazing.
