I'd ask the guy for some documentation, the serial number, and which dealer he bought it from. His answer will probably tell you all that you need to know.

The seatpost is fake, the shape is wrong. With that amount of fake parts, I'm 99% sure the frame is a forgery too.

Yeah well spotted those above. I never looked closely at pic, using phone. Comments stand for real kit, but this doesn't look good unfortunately.

I would buy the c60 from a reputable store. Stay away from the c59 from the acquaintance. It may be a fake.

Even the stem is a chinese 3T LTD replica.

My first thought when I saw the post earlier. I just wanted to see all replys.

In guess the question really is whether the seller was trying to pawn fake goods off as real. If he fully disclosed that it's one thing but if not then he is pondscum.

Wheels, stem and seatpost are unfortunately 1000% fakes. No question about it.
The photo is not really clear to see the details but looking the top headset cap i think this is fake as well,it appears smaller than the headtube in diameter.
If you have the serial number send me a PM and i can verify the authenticity of the frame but again it is strange to use a fake seatpost on a real frame..

It is really a sad thing to have to deal with all these scammers out there..

I love my C59. I didn't realize how much until last week when returning from a week of Cycling with Campo Bicicletta in Girona UAL lost my bike for a week. Actually they always had it, but could not say where it was on three successive occasions, lasting for two days, another two days and then for five hours at the end. In either case the geometry is the same and the C59 has a true english threaded bottom bracket which to me is a real plus. If you are looking to get the C60 the main advantages would be a slightly more accomodative fork for 25 mm tires and a brand new never ridden bike. Otherwise get the C59 for the cheaper price and slightly more forgiving ride.

I own both a C59 and a C60. Both are eqipped with identical wheels, saddle, stem, handlebar and Campy Record mechanical 11 speeds.

There is a difference in ride quality though it is very hard to quantify.

I bought the C60 because: 1. I got a great price and 2. I turned 60 this year and I wanted to treat myself.

Were it not for 1 and 2 above, I would have stayed with the C59 and been a very happy camper.

It seems fake Bora. Is frame genuine? Go get C60!
