SRAM Red eTap With 11 X 32 Cassette
Moderator: robbosmans
Can we get that same pic while on big ring up front and the 32 cog please? And also on small/small. And are those standard rings (39/53) up front, or something else? Thanks.

perfectly working 11/32 setup
So help a mechanical imbecile with this... You just took the cage from a Potenza derailleur and swapped it onto the EPS derailleur? And it works perfectly!?!

Yes the cage from the Potenza is compatible with all 11 speeds derailleurs. They have the same mounting system.

Anyone tried new XG-1190 11-30 cassette with E-tap rear derailleur?
When I screw B tension bolt all the way, I have 10mm between 28th sprocket(11-28 cassette) and the upper jockey wheel.
So in theory 4-5 mm of spare room to accommodate 30 sprocket?
Dura Ace 9000 SS, even though it supports only 28, works just fine with 32. Does Sram also have some reserve for 11-30 cassette, regarding the statement that it is NOT compatible?

Thanks.
I was considering new 9100 11-30, but than I look at my old 11-28, what was that strange noise on the 3 sprocket and there it was, one broken pin. So I am not buying DA any more.
Will try Sram RED, there are two versions
SRAM XG-1190 2016
https://www.bike24.com/p2174914.html
and
SRAM X-Glide 1190
https://www.bike24.com/p256950.html
It says, SRAM revised graphics to match SRAM RED eTap components. So other that that same cassette?
Only hope that will work OK, because the DA cassette, despite construction problems, works really great with Sram in every gear, even better than with DA Di2 system, that I had before..

Would this work with Pre-2015 Chorus RD's?

For Pre-2015 campy 11, I used the long cage from an Athena Triple and put it on Chorus for the ladies bike to fit 11-32.

As for after market cages, it looks to be just Shimano for now who get the nice upgrades. Would a force wifli cage fit to an etap RD?
IIRC the pulley cage on SRAM RDs are not user-replaceable. It's pinned to the p-knuckle.
I beg to differ...
