Does anyone mounted Continental (Competition) tubes with Tufo tape (on carbon rims)? It will work ? My first experience with tubulars and I would try tape instead of glue.

tape is certainly cleaner to mount. however, it is heavier than glue.

Worked for me. Used the Tufo tape with Conti tubs and Vittoria tubs. Never had any problems mounting and riding them.

I saw that Tufo is offered only in 19mm width, is this enough wide for 25mm tubes ?

Glue in my view is superior to tape. It is easier to get the tire centered with glue on.

Works great, tape is easy and you can centre the tyre perfectly every time with little effort and no mess!

Tufo tape has a bit of a reputation for removing chunks of your carbon rim when removing...

Be aware.....
