I can confirm a DA branded disc caliper and lever will be out in a few months.

The sti-levers är super sweet. no bigger than the current mechanical.

Its gonna be ant+ functions on the di2

powermeter thats reminds a lot of the panasonic.

11-speed... no wireless.

and all new wheels with wide profile.

shimano xt also going di2...

I saw all this stuff 2 months ago ;)

Wut? the crank looks totally different. Looks more like XTR9000 than DA9000.

Now, this would be radical for Shimano but I'm wondering with the long mech cage as well if the new DA will have the same modular crank 2x or 1x chainring compatibility as XTR and XT...

I wouldn't call a different color a significant change...

I wouldn't call a different colour a significant change either. Nevertheless, the crank looks significantly different.

I see cable ends.

In the other trade show pic I see what appears to be the brake release of their cable brakes. I think it's just an aero brake caliper using standard cable.

Yeah there is a cable coming out of that brake, and a tension adjuster.

Heard through the grapevine of a new junction box that uses bluetooth to connect to a new e-tube app on an iphone/ipad.

Would be a great idea, especially if the PM did too. Would make for a tidy complete package. Update all your firmware/made adjustments all from one app.
