New dura-ace R9100
Moderator: robbosmans
Bontrager XXX Aero carbon bar allows for internal routing. Cable routes through the bends as well as through the middle section internally.
Found two shops in Belgium selling complete 9150 groupset at €2449, van Eyck and Bike-Inn. Latter also can deliver with EW-RS910 junction.

New PDF upload from Shimano - dealers manual for ST-R9170 (previous PDFs only covered ST-R9150 and ST-R9120)
http://si.shimano.com/pdfs/dm/DM-R9150-01-ENG.pdf
Final product info confirms already known feature set:
ST-R9170 does not have sprinter shifter port (ST-R9150 have this port)
ST-R9170 bleeding port close to clamp (ST-R9120 have bleeding port on top)
ST-R9170 uses funnel adapter for bleeding (same as ST-R9120)
FD-R9150 uses "plug cover" adapter to connect/discount e-tube wire (port is too deep inside, TL-EW02 is not enough)
Still no info about EW-RS911 (suggested front junctions: EW-RS910 and SM-EW90)

Marcel Kittel uses ST-R785 with SW-R610, probably his mechanics replaced di2 brains from non-hydraulics shifter (or shimano gave hime special model)

Yes, they do not have a normal E-Tube plug. Their plug has a tab on it and it will only fit into the sprint shifter ports on the STI bodies.

I finally received the EW-RS910 (THREE WEEKS from bike-components.de, grr) and I managed to get the wires routed through Zipp SL-70 Aero handlebars. I do NOT recommend this since as I posted earlier, the bars are full of collapsed plastic carbon-mold bladder material so I had to yank the plastic sheeting out of the bar ends with curved-tip forceps.
But it works. I don't have the Y-cable yet so I put it together using the 4-port "internal" junction.

Theoretically, you could solder them in parrallel to the existing switches. To have the same functionality as the sprinter switches, that would have to be the top buttons then, programmed to control the rear mech. They are simple contact closers after all. If you want them wired to a junction, then you would need to modify the electronics of a climbing switch, they are able to communicate over the bus.
Possibly, the PCB in the shifter still has the contacts for sprinter switches even without the physical interface being there.

You could also wire it in series using normal cables like so:
RS910-LShifter-Rshifter-Frame Junction. Slight disadvantage: If a shifter is destroyed, the whole system quits.
I'm going to wire it:
RShifter-RS910-LShifter-Frame Junction. Needs a bit longer cable across but has the advantage that the right shifter is fail-operational. With a Y-Cable, either shifter's failure would leave the system operational (you need one functional to actually shift though). Since the Y cable is expensive, and I have the needed normal cables at hand, I'm going to forego the Y Cable.
Shimano updated specs/lineup/compatibility charts today - this is mostly about new mtb groupsets,
but some road changes appeared (it can be mistake)
Specification and Manuals still shows, that ST-R9170 do not have sprinter shifter port
Compatibility chart shows something:
with OLD battery - ST-R9170 is not compatible with SW-R610
with NEW battery - ST-R9170 is compatible with SW-R610

Did anyone already came accros some 'normal' short cages for the new rear mech's? I kinda like the new look of both front and rear mech, except for that long cage on the rear mech. Cages for 9000/ 9070 are not compatible with the 9100 according to ceramic speed.

I'm excited for the 11-30 cassette. I have that in a Sram Red that I use on a CX bike, but even with the elastomers removed, it can clog with mud. The DA will weigh a bit more, but be better overall.
