Been riding a Romin Evo pro in a 143 for several years. Been fairly happy with it although at times it seems my upper hamstring hits the sides more than it should when pushing hard. I'm thinking of giving the Berk Padded a try, but the 143 is right between the Berks 132 and 150. Anyone have any experience how it would compare width wise ?

Can't answer your question directly but the padded Berk was 138mm wide, 136mm if I pressed the calipers lightly into the padding. I hit my leg on most 143mm saddles which annoys me, but the Berk I do not.

Not sure if my experience helps, but here it is. I have been riding Selle Italia SLR Superflow 145mm; it's pretty good, but I thought I could gain more comfort. Bought a Berk, padded, 150mm saddle and have been riding it for the past four weeks. So far, so good. And, thus far, it feels more comfortable than my Superflow.

FWIW, I'm 184cm, 95kg, and have big thighs.

Hope this helps. I'm currently on Berks non paddle saddle 132mm, previous saddle was s works toupe 143mm.

I find the berk saddle more comfortable, nothing wrong with the toupe, but berk sadde fit's me better

I ran an older S Works Toupe 143 and currently have a Romin Evo Pro 143 on my MTB. I use a padded Berk 132 on my road bike and it is probably my favorite saddle I've used. There is enough flex in the shell, plus enough padding, that I know it can be ridden all day without any issues. I liked mine so much that I told my friend about it, he rode it for 2 minutes and decided he wanted one too. You won't be disappointed!
