Hi folks,

I have a 2009 Cervelo R3 with annoying 32.4 mm seat post. I have swapped to a deda (31.6 mm) and USE plastic shim. Problem is seat post is slipping. Will carbon paste (FSA) still work with a plastic shim?

Cheers

Why not? It is just grit in a fluid carrier.

Yes it will. The resin the carbon sits in is "plastic" too.
