As one of my legs is a couple of cm longer than the other, I was wondering to what effect putting a 172.5 on one side & a 175 on the other wold have! Waiting for a 172.5 DA10 c'set. How easy would it be to get a 175 non-drive crank I wonder......

That doesnt work, you need to build up your shoe/cleat on the shorter leg. Anyway what difference is 2.5mm going to make when you are saying a couple of cm?

Probably not a lot on it's own, but I do have a spacer of sorts between plate & shoe, though I'm wary of building it up too much in this manner.

If you use a longer crank though your leg extension is longer at the bottom and shorter at the top, this will probably give you problems with your pelvis. The only way to counteract your leg length discrepancy is to have the distance on your shorter leg corrected by the use of a shim so the length is constant all the way round.

See you on Sunday
