So, I'm heading off to Siena on Tuesday to ride Sunday's GF Strade Bianche. Question is which bike to take!
Option 1 is my Deanima Unblended with SR EPS
Option 2 is my Condor Acciaio Stainless with Record Mevhanical
Wheels will be the same - H Plus Son TB14 on Record CULT hubs with Vittoria Open Corsa Graphene 25 or Open Pavé 27 tyres.

No real theory or intense research behind this, but I would take the Condor!

The one you like the most!
The strade bianche sectors are gonna be rather smooth.
Personally I would take the one that I dont mind if it ends up having some scratches (from stones).

the one I like most?? That's NO help! It's like choosing between your children.micky wrote:The one you like the most!

De Anima is 7kg & light shifting, XCR is 8.2kg but, I suspect, more rugged.

Ha! I get the "choosing between children" comment. Question on your Record "CULT" hubs. I presume you replaced not only the bearings but the pressed in cup, and adjusting cone as well? To get the Cronitec surfaces.

They're the hubs Campagnolo should be making as Super Record. Then Chris Kings would be redundant.

Chris Kings are a "Buzz"kill. I'd choose the Record hubs anyday, but they only come in 32 holes so pretty much reserved for a "classic" wheelset. Remember working on the bike one day with bike in stand. I was doing something aside and noticed the front wheel just lightly spinning endlessly form what was a very light breeze. Just the regular, not ceramic, bearings. And with the Nemesis rims they were perfectly balanced so not weighted anywhere that would have them stop at a certain spot. It was beautiful. Lol
Oops, I better edit this and say I think Chris King's stuff is awesome, and the guys are great, but I just love the standard 32 hole campy hubs.
