I think the Vittoria is more durable than the Cottons - Cottons are an excellent tire for sure but I think the new Vittoria edges it out on value. I think the G+ grips maybe a little better but that's pretty opinion based. Both are fast and grippy.

Have you ridden either in the wet? Has Vittoria fixed the wet weather grip problem that plagued the Corsa CX?

I have ridden the new Corsa tires in the wet. Plenty sticky and not scary like the older ones that had the Kevlar. They do have that squeaky sound on smooth concrete which was strange. At first I though they were rubbing on the frame but it was the tire on the concrete in my garage.

Commuting in London and riding out through the Essex lanes with no issues at all.

I have used both in the wet as well - personally I used for tubulars the corsa SC model and never had a problem with that in the rain but there were certainly some issues with some of the other tires although normally mitigated with running lower pressures.

As for the G+ line, like rmerka they were perfect. Definitely as good if not better than the Pave's which the new corsa essentially replaces.

Thanks for the feedback! I may try the Corsa G+ tubular for my race wheels this season. Historically I've done my best crit racing in the wet, so I need tires that can keep up.

Anyone have real world weights for the g+ clinchers? Hate the idea of giving up 35g per tyre over veloflex masters (this is WW!)

What wheels? I just got a pair for my Bora Ultra 35s and they went straight on without any real difficulty.
