After 2.5 years of use my right buttons are not 100% responsive...meaning sometimes a push of the button resulted in no response from the RD. I read the instruction manual and it appears the buttons are serviceable. A Google search on the topic resulted in zero hits. I tried calling Shimano N.A. but their office was closed today due to a holiday. I'm wondering if anyone here has the same experience. If so how did you solve the problem? I have the 11-speed system. Thanks.

First I'd unplug and plug back in the shift wire at both ends. Then I'd check the firmware with e-tube software. Then I'd use Shimano's 3 year warranty on DA components!

I´ve replaced the right side buttons on a customers bike after a crash, it can be bought as a spare.

Does shimano sell those parts directly? Not that I need one soon.

I won't wish to handle it through warranty because I wish to avoid downtime. I don't have a spare bike. I'll give Shimano a call today. Thanks for the responses.

I changed this - Main lever assembly, that was damaged in the crash.

I didn't get a chance to call them today. I just need to know if I can buy just the buttons, or find a way to service them so the electrical contacts become 100% reliable. My manual also stated that I need a special tool to remove the lever assembly so the buttons can be accessed.
