I've tried stock, Jagwire, Aican, & Swissstop pads on my Spyres mounted on road bike. I climb steep, so brake alot on the descent.
Any suggestions to maximize the performance of Spyres (without going to $$$ hydro brakes). Using 160mm good rotors front & rear. THX
Any good pads for TRP Spyre calipers?

Before I swapped to cable actuated hydros, I had settled on SwissStop DISC 15 DISC E which were developed for e-bikes.

I ride two Crossbikes with mechanic Disc and one with full hydros. On the TRP Spyre equipped bike I use http://www.swissstop.com/DiscBrakes/Disc15/Sintered/ together with hope floating rotors. This results in enough stopping power on longer descents for me as a 85kg rider, modulation is o.k. as well. The Disc E compound should have an even better modulation rating, so they might be a better choice.
