If you like the feel of the WCS Evocurve- switch to the Superlogic version - http://ritcheylogic.com/road/bars/super ... d-bar.html

195 grams. Outside of Ritchey, there are lighter bars out there like MCFK- but these Superlogic have the same shape that you are on.

At the moment I don't have the actual weight. I did some upgrades after the last weighting and my weight scale is now broken. But I believe that it should be around 5.750g with the SMUD saddle...

Need to buy a new scale...

Its already light. Maybe I-link and mini i-link housing are cheap upgrade. Others deserve much money:
Crankset - clavicula, lightning, ax morpheus...
Rings - praxis, bor, stronglight, fibre-lyte
Handlebar - schmolke, haero carbon, mcfk...
Brakes - ee, thm fibula, ax orion/3000...
Wheels...

Edit: or tuned parts... Shave, drill... [emoji3]

Thanks njyeti. I already have the Superlogic version. I will edit the components list.
One "less expensive" part to upgrade for now... :(

Thanks for the suggestions. I will start with the cheaper parts... Rings and Cable Housings.
- What are the best chainrings where I can get some weight improvement, but without sacrificing performance?
- Regarding the Cable Housings, I've been considering the I-Link and Mini I-Link for some time, but cannot find much information of which ones are better (Nokon, Alligator, Jagwire, etc...). Can someone enlighten me on this?

Sram red rings are 178g. I think you can find New Old Stock force rings which weigh 120g. Praxis I think are closer to 140g. I did not like the shifting on Strong light rings.

Alligator I links have been around for a long time. The only drawback I think is that they occasionally creak, but wiping them down and adding a little lube fixes it. They work very well though.

Oh, and you can save weight by only running a single computer, that's free.

Always learning!
Will investigate the older force rings. Seems like a good option!

2 Computers (Edge 810 + Forerunner 920XT) »» I am/was new in town/country, and to not get lost, I was using the Edge 810 for map (always on), and the 920XT for speed/cadence/HR. Maybe a bit overkill!

Which wheels do you recommend for this bike, for a 540km "competition" (Styrkepröven in Norway)?

Currently on clinchers (Mavic R-SYS SLR), but considering a change to tubulars (I have zero experience with tubulars).

But isn't getting lost the fun part? And the best way to learn your way around... 8)

Exgtralite / Stronglight / tune / BOR rings will save some weigh.

Apart from that, wheels. Superlight carbon clinchers for weight, tubular for really low weight, or aero wheels for speed...

For Styrkepröven definitely 35-55m 23-25mm wide U-shape to be stable in crosswinds when you're tired. Should be possible to build a set @ 1350g.

And FFS get some decent tires man!

How about:
Recon K7 , BTP shifter clamps and fibre-lyte jockey wheels with fsa polycarbonate headset spacers (very light and cheap)

Praxis rings will drop some weight and improve shifting. If you want to go full WW on the housing try aican bungarus. Wheels- enve 2.2 tubulars laced to extralites will get you sub kilo easy. Brakes- ee as others have mentioned, don't bother with any of the other WW braking options if you actually want to stop. Tyres- plenty to be saved there; Rubino pro speed 23's for clinchers or veloflex extreme tubs. Try YBN ti chain to kill another 30g, tune your pedals (butterflies). Cranks- THM. Bars could drop 40g through some of the options listed above. Carbon rear mech pulleys etc etc... Get out the Dremel?
