Hi,

I have Caad 9 with a BSA bottom bracket. I have understood that there is no way of making Cannondales crankset work on a BSA setup. But is there anyway to use just the OPI spidering on any BSA crankset?

thanks

you would need a BSA compatible crank with the same spider/spindle interface as the cannondale crank, which to my knowledge does not exist.

The chainline would be 9mm too far outboard.

or a custom made bottom bracket with bearings so small they would last 1 week

AFAIK none of these solutions are possible

Can be made to work with outboard bb and mtb spindle but makes no sense due to the q-factor and chainline.
Why do you want the thing anyway? Just get some quality chainrings like praxis etc.

I feared that there is no elegant solution that won't compromise functionality.

The reason I'm asking that I always wanted a Cannondale crank on my bike and really like unique look of the Spiderings.
