what are you using for cleaning bike from winter road salt?

LOL at this thread - the data on solubility by heat rather silenced the
"only EVER use cold water on salt" crowd

I am time poor so use very warm water with car shampoo (by that I mean cleaning fluid
designed for car bodywork)

It gets everything off quickly and then into the guys with baby wipes etc, and then lube

I would start with lots of COLD water to get rid of all that salt. After that, use your regular cleaning method. Never use warm water first, it activates the corrosive action of salt.
