Looking at used wheelset for summer use.

They are for a Specialized Diverge CArbon bike.

I know about the SCS problem but I Think with the new non SCS hanger it will work with 135x12 rear and 100x12 TA front.

So - witch ones would u go for?

Are they able to go tubless? I have made up my mind to try Vittora Corsa Speed 23 mm for summer use.

I see a plus in buying the SCS Rovals - they fit right on but on the other hand the Enve´s seem wider and got supergood revies.

My plan is to be able to migrate the wheelset for a new bike in the future.

my understanding is that dt240 rear disc hubs can work with 135x12 rear. if so 240 handbuilts would ensure you were able to migrate the wheelset for a new bike in the future.

AFAIK rovals are 240-based. perhaps they can be used with different endcaps.

if they can work. 240 on 3.4 would b great.

I put the SEs 3.4 Dics with the DT 240 on my Grade this year. One reason was exactly what Jeffy mentions they can convert to any of the current standards both front and rear from 15mm to QR front and rear. They are also all standard parts that are easy to come by vs specific Specialized stuff. I only have a couple of week on the wheelset but no doubt they are light and stiff of course.

I am surprised you would only run them with a 23mm tire are the road super smooth around where you live? Currently I run 28 Conti 4 Season and when the weather get better I plan on going tubeless Schwalbe Pro One Tubeless in 28. So yes the SES are tubeless ready.

Great to hear ´that the SES can go tubless.

I wonder if the same future proof of Rovals, I wounder if u can just swap the end caps and put them on the "next bike" Thay also have DT hubs or DT internals.

The reason why 23 mm tires is actually that Vittora only make them in 23 mm and I like the gumwall look on small tires.

I will also go for 28 mm pro ones or S-ones for more Gravel use. If someone have tried going gravel and road with the Pro Ones or S-one - please write.

I was first al set on a pair of open tublars form Challenge but maybe it will look weird with a big tire like Strada Bianca or Almonzo.

Get the Enve SES 3.4
1.) Newest ones are tubeless compatible.
2.) Internal width is same a Roval.
3.) Get them with DT hubs- you can buy an aftermarket set of end caps to be able to run them as thru axle with an SCS rear end

This will be way better than going quick release.
4.) Newest Roval wheels are not cheap- Not really a better deal than the Enve wheels.
5.) Enve wheels will retain more value if you decide to sell them.

Bought custom SES 3.4 for US$2300 a few years ago.
My current CLX 3.5 is only US$1800.

Both Disc version. They ride similarly. Both great, and CLX is more costweenie.
