hello guys,

didn't know where to post this so I took the liberty to put this in the cycle chat subforum since it's not exactly performance or weight related.

I'm in the process of buying some handlebar tape from Busyman and wanted some feedback on the thickness and padding of the tape.
I am someone who rarely rides with gloves (only in the cold) so I appreciate some padding from the bar tape. Right now I have some Lizard skins 2.5 tape on my bar and like the cushion this tape provides.
Should I buy some gel pads to put underneath the Busyman tape to have the same type of damping, or perhaps put on a layer of cork tape first?

This might also be the place to share some pics from your Busyman tapes and saddles, don't hold back!
But I could be wrong

Have some on my Crumpton. Not that padded compared to "gel" tapes. It has lasted very well though.

Hi attached pics of my Busyman tape and saddle ...

I changed from Lizard Skins 2.5mm and found that I did indeed need a cork wrap first to provide some padding before applying Busyman tape ...

Hope that helps?

Good stuff! I'm thinking of getting some work done, too.
