Interesting read and I like the video showing the chain movement. So it seems like a good replacement for standard gear but don't expect big gains in pedalling efficiency?

I know there is a real difference in quality, but has anyone tried these ?

Either just inner or inner & outer ?

For A$71 delivered, I get both, or can just go the inner for about A$40.

Any thoughts ?

Exactly. I'm sure there are some marginal gains but expectations need to be in line. Is it going to feel revolutionary (pun intended) and shave 20% off all your best climbs? No. I believe their claims are more about the greater balance in muscle use and energy with greater efficiency. I have no scientific way to substantiate that from my experience but I don't feel any negative effects.

Any update on this?

I am thinking about ordering a 34T inner absoluteBLACK for my PraxisWorks/Power2Max setup...
