Hi all

Purchased a sram s900 crank to replace a knackered fsa slk on my caad10.
Its BB30.
The crank came with two 10mm spacers. I have instsalled with a 10mm spacer on both DS and NDS and the crank arms are symmetrical relative to the chainstays - so thats good.

When browsing online however, most pople seem to mention the s900's come with a 'pre load adjuster' that comes on the NDS. Is this just a fancy name for a spacer? As from what I can see, my cranks work fine with the 10mm spacer either side... or am I missing something?

For ref, the pre load spacer is the far left spacer in this image from the web: http://fcdn.roadbikereview.com/attachments/general-cycling-discussion/301643d1415744512-help-sram-s900-cranks-installation-20141111_160455_zpsnjslpzkw.jpg

thanks for any help!
