Hello weenies,

I have a Fizik R1 stem on my bike, and I face a small problem, as pictured below:

The outer diameter of the spacers is too big, and they don't seat flush with the stem.

Does anyone know of spacers that would avoid that?

Thanks.

I was literally going to ask this same question! I have some nice plain UD Carbon spacers but they are too thick.

Those Point 1 are some pretty spacers.

I cant find a shop that will ship the Point 1 spacers to Europe.

But I can get these PoP ones, available from R2 bike. Thanks.

its a common issue, but only in matters of aesthetics. cnc are also thin spacers

Yea, I know, it's nothing serious, but still. It's like the ugly rubber band of the Di2 junction box! If I spend thousands on a bike, I want it to look great everywhere.

I noticed chunky carbon stems do not have this problem, like the superlogic ritchey stem or the Enve one. They are so oversized that all the spacers look tiny in comparison.

Nah, I really like the Fizik one with the integrated Garmin mount.

Plus I dislike most carbon stems, they are far too bulky for my tastes. Especially this Ritchey one. Have you seen this MONSTER?

Same thing happened to me with the new carbon stem craze.
The ordered is a monster looking thing compared to my Deda Zero 100, so kept the aluminum one.

Ha! I commend you all. Yes, details count always. I also had the same issue and managed to find (by fluke) a 5mm Carbon spacer for the top that was just a bit thinner and fit perfectly. I cherish that single spacer because all the rest seem to be just a bit awkward fitting like in the OP's pic. But at least no ones losing sleep over it.
Or are they lol
