I was at one of my LBS to pick up a few things and was browsing around and chatting with the owner. He is a dealer for Tommasini and had a few X-Fire frame sets on hand. Man are they a beauty. The only thing is that all were external cable routing. He did say that they do custom as well on any of there frames with no or very little up-charge so the options are wide open. He is riding a 52s XcR with SR mech and no real special parts and is was at 15 pounds.
He also is a dealer for Casati and there were some drop dead gorgeous fillet brazed steel bikes there made with columbus spirit. He was building one up with Campagnolo EPS SR and bora 35's. They also do XcR in Casati and will do a custom fit and build for no upcharge.
I may have to look into one of the custom Casati XcR frames in the near future.
Just seeing if anyone is riding any XcR bike out there and would like some opinions on the ride vs steel.
