So I'm having a 2015 Bmc Slr03 with Sora tore down and rebuilt. Putting all force 22 parts on it except rival 22 shifter and brakes. Hed belgium plus wheelset as well. According to my numbers it should be just at 15.9 lbs. Besides seatpost and saddle I think it's about as light as a bike you can build for the money.

To be @ 7.2kg with SLR03 and Rival/Force 22 & HED , all the rest ( to the smallest piece) has to be extremely light weight. If you put 180g post, 180g saddle, 180g bar, 120g stem, 60g tape, 230g pedals, 45g cages you'll be at 7.9kg-ish at best. Simply, frame is heavy. Rival is heavy, HED's - however awesome - not lightest either. Than 25mm tires ( 250g each avg )...

"for the money" you can go down to 6kg. Depends "on the money" ;) .

While ago I had GF01, Full Force22 ( Rotor52-36 crank) , 300g stem+bar, 160g saddle, 1550g Vision +23mm Veloflex(195g each), 55g innertubes, Look Keo Max... and it was 7.7kg. SLR03 is around 300g heavier as frameset, so... conclusion is yours ;)

I can be wrong, and have plenty of examples for that ;)
