31.8 clamp. I use Smud clamp (splitted model), strong and light (5,8558g on analitical scale), but i weigh 48kg, so...
Also i have a Carbonice Eva clamp (4,6682g) but i never tested so far.
Smud feels more solid/stiff/strong anyway.
Sorry my english

Carbonice makes a nice clamp (Eva). The smallest I believe is 31.8mm. Starbike has them.
Isn't the diameter 30mm for the CAAD? If so, the options mentioned above might not fit properly. I bought an alu Yuniper 30mm for my Supersix Hi-mod I'm now building (they do other sizes too). Weight on the scale 6.2g (claimed 5.7g). Doesn't get much lighter, and only £26 inc delivery. Saved over 10g over the original

For CAAD12?
No. It is not 30mm.
It is 28.6mm size clamp.
Seatpost is 25.4mm.
Exp001 || Other projects in the works.
Extralite clamps are light enough and really well made. I am not sure there is one in 28.6 though.
Extralite mention:
Weight, Material, Grade, Finish and how graphics is laser etched . . . .
Fine but incomplete.
Why does such a manufacturer and the dozens other think we are not interested in the height of a clamp???
Whats going on in their minds? Shops are also not interested to give you this basic spec.
The bike industry Always tries to tell you how advanced they are, with a lot blabla.
The reality is that it is a very mediocre organised industry.
How difficult is that? How serious are they? Why do they think we don't want to know?
The height of a clamp is an important factor and you want a real match with your seatpost, isnt it?

The whole industry should ask you first.

Smarty . . .
You are the type of consumer what we call a "sleeper".
Proper specs of items to buy should be basic information.
Counts for the manufacturer, counts for the shops.
