Hello.
.
Has anyone tried the Ultegra Di2 shifter with the hydraulic brake lever (ST-R785?) with an Alfine Di2 hub, either 8 or 11? Does it work and were there any any modifications you had to make to get it to do it?
.
The best thing on the google I've seen about Di2 compatibility is http://carltonbale.com/shimano-di2-ever ... d-to-know/ but that only says 'Alfine SG-S505 and SG-S705: It is believed to be compatible with other Di2 ETube components but this has not been verified.
.
Not a specifically weight-weenie question I know, but I'm trying to build the most reliable/least maintenance commuter bike I can. (52 mile, hilly, round trip with a heavy pannier so a singlespeed isn't ideal)
.
Thanks guys and girls
