Hi all,

I'm currently trying to find the weights of the lightest frames in both steel or titanium that are commercially available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Looking for a target to beat!!

Thanks,
Iain

I would put my money on the Litespeed T1SL which they market as a 1000gr frame

Just the sort of thing I'm after!

Has anybody ever claimed to go sub 1000grams?

The lightest titanium frames I know are from a small company in Italy, ENIGMA. Here's the link:

And here are some very light steel frames, also from Italy. The companys name is TOMMASINI:

The website for Enigma says they are from Britain. Not Italy. Says they build their frames in England. Frames are priced in British Pounds. Their lightest 6/4 titanium frame says "from 1250 grams". Not exactly light by today's standards. Or light by what Litespeed did in the early 2000s with its 6/4 frames.

Check out Baum in Australia (I think). He has some of the lightest steel. Also Ti. But semi-custom to custom so I don't know if that meets you availability criterion.

Rodriguez claims their steel S3 frame builds up to 13.5 lbs with Red (can't find a claimed weight on the frameset)

Wraith claims 3.1 lbs for steel Hustle frame in medium

Take a look at Rob English as his name always comes up when discussing light steel frames:

I think this is fairly light for steel at 1430g (Cinelli XCR):
