I'd go 2015 Campy to be the most current.

2015 SR is lighter than 2032g. Add up the published weight and it is 1932g which is heavier than I though. I have SR RS and it is lovely. Lighter as well.

2015 onwards works better - that's just a fact. The changes were done to improve shifting.

I personally prefer the new crankset too - the old spider rings look quite dated now IMHO

That said, 80th and RS are really unusual on the road, and have huge café stop appeal. Very nice, both. Up there with the old red labelled ergos from 10s Record

Doubt they will appreciate much if at all though tbh given the advent of EPS and prospect of that getting lighter, better, wireless, more integrated with data capture etc

Not that I'm an expert in the Campy world but it seems that if you plan on building this bike as your every day bike go with SR, EPS or similar. For a weekend "sunny" show off to your buddies bike go with the 80th (which does look really sweet). Personally I love the look of my SR EPS.

Very nice!

Something unusual there.

One can of course also have the 80th Anniversary Boras, though only in the older narrow rim. 35s look perfect on that bike. And yes it does really need Ultras to avoid any indication there have been any budgetary constraints whatsoever

I also put the 80th back in the box as soon as the new one came out. The truth is the difference between both groups performance wise is really small to notice, but on the other hand I think the 2015 will look better on a C60 due to the thick tubes of the framesets, the other one just looks a little more classic. I was saving my 80th anniv for 10 years but as soon as I sas the Wilier Superleggera with the ramato finish I new that it was the perfect fit for that grouset.

The 80th is on my De Rosa Titanio which is my "sunny" day bike so gets limited use here in Northern Ireland!! hahahaha

The RS is on my De Rosa Corum which is my "everyday" race machine

... and the SR 2015 on my De Rosa Cross ...

Personally I love the finish on the RS group but there is little if any real difference in my opinion between all three groups ... hey its Campagnolo's top stuff after all!!
Go with what YOU like and best matches your bike, you'll not be disappointed either way!

The 2015 SR is probably the best for replacement bits etc. as previously stated ... that said I've seen 80th spare parts for sale on web (pricey tho  )
