Are many manufacturers doing this? I'm getting a bike that has a 110 bCD power meter on it, so would be handy to know what companies are making standard rings for this (as I really have no need for compact for 99% of my rides/races).

Trivio has these for sure, Specialties TA probably as well.

Stronglight as well probably. Or go Semi-Compact (52/36), even more options there.

Rotor, Stronglight, TA Specialties, Miche (Super11), Praxis... Plenty of choices.

stormur maybe you're not comprehending my request, I'm looking for 53/39 tooth count on a 110 BCD.

And not looking for semi-compact.

Curious, does 53 on 110 get a bit flexy?

Have Fibre-Lyte make you a set. I've had a few sets of his rings and they've been great, plus he can make them as strong as you like.

KCNC do the Cobwebs in 53/39 but no idea how stiff they are (heard the Extralites are flexy as hell).

Stronglight CT2 rings have lots of options in 110. Nice quality. Lowest prices on XXcycle.com

TA is a good bet. They are flimsy but they now have solid plates as well which might be better. Im not sure you could find standard rings for compact BCD with happy ramps but it will get the job done. Let us know how it goes. I have had similar question brewing.

Looking on Bike24 it seems even B.O.R makes a 110bcd 53 which now begs the question and no idea who can answer ... who makes the stiffest nicest shifting 110 standard ring!

Praxis makes the best shifting rings beside Dura Ace. Plenty stiff too.

I understood you correctly :) Rotor and Stronglight make 110BCD 53-39 rings. About TA i'm 99.99% sure. Miche : SUPERTYPE 11 CARBON - so, no problem.... Where's issue ?

I believe there are companies that make 39/53 rings, but the performance can't be all that great. I've run various incarnations of 36/52 rings (stronglight, specialized, praxis, red / red exogram) and the shifting suffers on all of them except the heavy red exogram rings when compared to a 110mm 34/50 or 130BCD 39/53. This is with multiple groupsets (red ti / force / red yaw / ultegra 6800 / ultegra 6870 / dura ace 9070). Even the praxis forged 36/52's shifted relatively slowly.

You'd do better to sell the 110 Bcd power meter and buy another meter: If you want the ability to switch between compact and standard, I'd go with a dura-ace crank.

But it all depends on you tolerance for slow / missed front shits.

Cheers for the replies guys :beerchug: and links. Finding places that sell them was nearly as hard as finding a place that makes them to begin with.

Rotor I could find no evidence of. TA, if they do, no places (I could understand) to buy them. Same for Miche.

Hence me starting a thread.

Further meaning you adding "where's the issue" makes you sound like a bit of a jerk.
